Grrrr how irritating....there was some sort of weird cyberspace problem with my last blog and i couldnt get into it...this means that i have to start a new blog!! i do apologise for all the to-ing and fro-ing, chaps!!
Anyway, Christmas is coming...i have spent much of this evening at my favourite most christmassy London venue; Fortnum & Mason where i have been looking at all the wonderfully Blyton-esque goodies for sale...peppermint creams, candy canes, real turkish delight, ginger snaps...i love it there! i came across the most gorgeously packed hot chocolate http://www.fortnumandmason.com/Hot-Chocolate,1163.aspx have a look at it, the little glass jars remind me of ink pots! i cant wait to get sketching with all the ideas i picked up from there. the window displays were very interesting too. they were 3 dimensional scenes taken from the exact images of scenes from Canaletto and other amazing artists! I love canaletto's pieces...if you have never seen them and youre in London, pop into the National Portrait Gallery...there's loads of his work there! Even if youre not an art lover, im sure you'll find it interesting!
